I’ve played my fair share of survival games crafting, base building, scavenging, raiding, repeat.

But after countless hours in familiar worlds, I started craving something different: a game where the world feels alive, your choices truly matter, and every adventure is unique.

That’s how YUMA was born a Viking survival and settlement-building game where you shape your own saga.

In this first devlog, I’ll share the roadmap, current progress, and vision for YUMA, from solo adventures to multiplayer clans.


Where We Are Today

Phase 1 • Building the Viking World (Short Term)

Goal: Create a living, reactive world for exploration.

Key Features:

  • Procedural world generation for endless exploration
  • Dynamic flora, fauna, and terrain assets
  • Day/night cycle, seasons, and weather systems
  • Early AI: roaming NPC tribes & wildlife
  • Core survival mechanics: movement, gathering, and sustenance

This is the world you’ll get lost in, where every corner could hide adventure or danger.


Phase 2 • Crafting, Settlements & Solo Adventure (Medium Term)

Goal: Let players survive, craft, and build their Viking homesteads.

Planned Features:

  • Crafting: weapons, armor, tools, and consumables
  • Modular base-building system for custom settlements
  • Solo adventures with AI-driven encounters and events
  • Inventory & resource management that feels meaningful
  • Player-driven exploration events to make each journey unique

Every choice counts. Fail, adapt, and carve your own story in the world of YUMA.


Phase 3 • Multiplayer & Clan Systems (Long Term)

Goal: Expand YUMA into a living multiplayer world.

Planned Features:

  • Co-op and competitive multiplayer
  • Clan creation, territory control, and shared progression
  • PvE dungeons and raids
  • Structured & open-world PvP battles
  • Player-driven and AI-driven dynamic events

A survival game where your actions shape the Viking world, and every encounter has weight.


Phase 4 • Advanced AI & World Expansion (Ongoing)
